Summary: 

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent bar service to the guests and service team of The Fish Peddler Restaurant. Prepares and serves drinks to guests in a professional and courteous manner. Maintains working knowledge of bar products and mixology recipes. Responsible for managing bar inventory, pricing and ordering.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for bar inventory and ordering, bar menu development, and brand management. 
  • Demonstrate detailed expertise of bartending and service for bar guests in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications for guests.   
  • Follow recipes and/or product directions for mixing beverages.  
  • Adhere to alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and managing intoxicated guests.  
  • Collect payments and operate cash register for drinks and/or food served following company established cash handling policies and procedures for all transactions.  
  • Manage till and secure all monies at the end of each shift. 
  • Adhere to food and beverage safety and sanitation standards at all times. 
  • Maintain a clean work environment in accordance with all health ordinances. 
  • Wash and sterilize glassware. 
  • Responsible for bar team development and accountability. 
  • Assist in wine and spirit trainings for service team. 
  • Provide exceptional service to each guest. 
  • Responds promptly and adequately to guest requests or concerns.  
  • Assist in the dining room when necessary. 
  • Perform other duties, as assigned. 

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood: 

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.  
  • Two or more years’ relevant experience 
  • Five years of experience in the preparation of trending bar menu items and related products. 
  • Equivalent combination of training and experience. 

Preferred:

  • Vast bar knowledge. 
  • Proven success in running inventory and bar program development in a highly competitive market. 
  • Passion for mixology trends and creativity. 
  • Current OLCC License. 
  • Current food handler’s card. 
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word and Excel. 

Salary Range: $16.66 - $18.00 Hourly
