As the ERP Leader - Budget to Close (Product Costing), you will manage the design and implementation of Pacific Seafood’s new SAP system as it relates to the company’s budget to close process. You will be supported by multiple Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) as this transformational role will oversee many processes that are brand new to Pacific Seafood.  It is a large business process within SAP which incorporates a wide range of master data, documents and business processes.  It is a role that has very direct impact to customers and needs to have the best resource we have assigned.  

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Gain alignment with business leadership on future state processes, policies, technical solutions and/or tools 
  • Identify and mitigate risk/issues throughout project life cycle; provide concise communication of risks to project teams and business leadership 
  • Develop and manage to project plans to ensure a smooth start up 
  • Identify success metrics required for project sign-off and validate readiness for go-live 
  • Establish pricing structure and pricing flexibility (What order types, what pricing on each order type, future state) 
  • Support reporting needs related to SAP-based requirements and Customer Supply Chain policy related compliance inquiries 
  • Enable the delivery of tactical execution and support for business disruptions through solutioning, standardization and process/system enhancements 
  • Focus on the costing of products within the SAP system.  As product costing is highly integrated activity, this role will need to be dedicate full time to learn about material mastery, inventory management, procurement, production planning as well as the finance areas of the system.  Product costing responsibilities will require a fundamental understanding of manufacturing, inventory management and solid understanding of financial postings.  Influencing factors such as labor rates, overheads and methods to collect this data are important.   
  • A full understanding of routings, time studies, bills of material and valuation strategies (i.e.: moving average vs standard costs) are critical to the success of this project. 
  • Deep involvement in the design and testing of both, item and order level. 
  • Master Data creation: Material Master (costing views), Bills of Material, Routings, Activity/Prices  
 
What You Bring to Pacific Seafood: 
Required 
  • BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Operations Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related field. 
  • Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible supply chain management / demand planning experience.  
  • Proven experience overcoming the challenges of a manufacturing, food production, and/or distribution environment. 
  • Prior experience managing multiple projects and priorities, meeting deadlines, and demonstrating creative problem resolution skills. 
  • Analytical skills showing adeptness at MS Suite including Project, Excel and PowerPoint (Visio a plus). 
 
Preferred 
  • SAP (or other ERP) implementation experience 
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in related field. 
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma certification with continuous improvement experience. 
  • Experience with value stream mapping and lean manufacturing/food production. 
  • Experience leveraging industrial internet of (IIOT) for data analysis and key operational metrics. 
  • Knowledge of OSHA, FDA and safety regulations. 
Pay Range: $120,000- $155,000 Annually
