We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to join our dynamic team in Portland, Oregon. This role is critical in managing our Salesforce platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our business, and driving efficiency and sales growth across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration and Customization: 

  • Maintain and administer the Salesforce platform, including user management, data management, security settings, and customization
  • Customize Salesforce fields, page layouts, record types, custom objects, workflows, and validation rules
  • Develop and implement Salesforce automation to improve productivity and sales growth
  • Monitor system performance, identify, and resolve any issues or errors.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce releases, implement, and communicate new features and enhancements
User Training and Support: 
  • Conduct training programs for Salesforce users across the organization, ensuring they are knowledgeable about the platform's functionality and best practices
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to users, addressing any questions, concerns, or issues
  • Create and maintain training materials and user documentation
Data Management and Reporting: 
  • Ensure data integrity by monitoring data quality, performing regular data audits, and implementing data cleansing activities
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance, customer behavior, and other key metrics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data governance policies and procedures

Workflow and Process Automation: 
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into Salesforce workflow and automation solutions
  • Build and maintain workflows, process builders, and automation rules (integration of A.I.) to streamline and automate business processes
Industry Knowledge Application: 
  • Utilize understanding of the seafood industry to tailor Salesforce solutions to meet specific business needs
  • Work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure Salesforce supports their goals and processes

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is required; Advanced Administrator or other relevant certifications are a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably at fast-moving consumer goods (seafood, meat, produce) manufacturer
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning is preferred
  • Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership and initiative
  • Vision for salesforce platform/ best practice
  • Understands training and development
  • Understands fast paced consumer goods for perishable sales industry
  • Urgency teams have in their sales roles
  • Can help build best practices into SOP’s
Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
Valid driver's license

Preferred:
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs
  • Familiarity with third-party applications and integrations available in Salesforce AppExchange
  • Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and database concepts
  • Previous experience integrating with data systems (SAP, Oracle, Boomi, etc.) highly desirable
  • Experience deploying Salesforce on mobile for field teams
  • Knowledge of the seafood industry is highly desirable
