Summary: 

As the VCQ Lead, you will assist with coordinating and directing the Value Creation Program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards. Develop and modify company quality systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain records for VCQ documentation on the floor
  • Assist VCQ team on the food safety and quality training program
  • Remain current on all regulatory requirements and law changes
  • Understand and execute FDA, ODA regulations H.A.C.C.P., S.S.O.P., COOL Act standards
  • Maintain knowledge on environmental and product microbiological testing
  • Product tracking and traceability
  • Provide support on customer complaints
  • Responsible for achievement of quality department goals and objectives
  • Assist in all plant quality activities
  • Identify, investigate, and report on critical quality defects on production processes and products 
  • Document quality checks of product through the entire process
  • Prepare and submit reports as required
  • Analyze product quality and take necessary actions during push list and throughout daily tasks
  • Conduct line level problem analysis
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

Required:

  • Minimum 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite of products

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
  • Bilingual in Spanish, a plus

Pay Range:  $17.25 - $19.32 hourly
